Incoming goods and inspection

All incoming goods are counted and the quantities are compared with the delivery note. We conduct a visual inspection of your dials, casings, case backs and crowns on reception.

The assembly process

After a general on-delivery check of the movements and a visual inspection of the cases and dials, all the components are then entrusted to a specialized team, supported by qualified watchmakers. We ensure the professional handling of the various components and their assembly in accordance with the most stringent standards.

  • 1. Fitting the dial and hands

Following removal of the working hands from the movement, the dial is placed manually. Next the hour and minute hands, the chronograph hands and centre hand are correctly fitted using a hand fitting machine. Finally, the height and position of the hands are checked.

  • 2. Casing and closing the caseback

Watch glasses are cleaned with compressed air and vacuum; following this operation, the individual watches are cased by hand. For better quality and security, the case is closed using the Roxe PVE machine for screw-down backs.

  • 3.    Proof of water resistance

All assembled watches are checked for water resistance. Water resistance is tested first, with air tests at high and low pressures. The watches can also be checked in real water up to 30 bar, including water condensation.

  • 4.    Setting the time and date

The finished watches are checked for good working and all chronographs are initialized. The assembly of the watch is now complete.

  • 5.    24/48 hours control and functional check

All watches undergo at least a 38-hour check for good working. Mechanical watch movements are wound using an Astuto Standard III, and are then individually tested for their accuracy rate using a Chronoscope M10.

According the manufacturers’ specific individual criteria the movements are regulated in at least 3 positions (CH, 6H, 9H). Any deviations from the standard values are generally corrected by ourselves.

  • 6. Strap assembly plus quality control and final inspection

A final inspection of all watches is carried out to detect any aesthetic defects, rejecting those that do not meet the standards. Defective watches are reworked and re-inspected. Upon request we can assembly strap.

  • 7. Packing and shipping

The watches are placed in individual plastic packages. The watches are packed by 10 and prepared for shipment according to the instructions of our customers.
